Frequently Asked Questions
Does Systematic Kinesiology work remotely?
Yes. Remote sessions use a method called surrogate testing, where a sample (such as hair) is used to connect energetically on your behalf. This approach can support clients of all ages and many people find remote sessions just as effective as in-person work.
From what age is Systematic Kinesiology effective?
Systematic Kinesiology can support people of all ages — from young children to adults. Sessions are tailored to each individual’s needs and abilities, so children and adults alike can benefit from the approach.
How long is a session?
Initial session: ~90 minutes
Follow-up sessions: ~75 minutes
The exact duration depends on your needs and what arises during the session.
Each session includes consultation, balance work, and time to reflect on what comes up.
Can this help with digestive issues (bloating, IBS, gut discomfort)?
Digestive symptoms are one of the most tangible areas people notice change, which is why many clients come specifically for gut support. In Systematic Kinesiology, the focus isn’t on treating a diagnosis, but on identifying underlying stressors that may be affecting digestion — such as nervous system load, food stress, immune response, or post-illness imbalance.
Because digestion is closely linked to the nervous system, people often notice changes through bowel movements, reduced bloating or discomfort, improved food tolerance, or a general sense that digestion feels more settled. For many, this makes gut work easier to track than more abstract issues like stress alone.
As with all kinesiology work, sessions are guided by the individual and responses vary, but digestive balance is often an area where shifts feel clearer and more measurable.
How quickly will I notice a change?
This varies person to person, but many people notice subtle improvements after 1–3 sessions, especially with digestive or comfort-related concerns. Longer-standing issues may take a few sessions.
Rather than promising a timeline, the focus is on listening to the body’s signals and adjusting as needed.
Are there any other costs involved?
Nutritional testing is a big part of kinesiology. If a certain vitamin, mineral or batch flower essence tests as a priority, it will be recommended that the client takes it, to reinforce the fixes from the session. However, this is completely up to the individual. It is advised because the added nutrition will help the body heal faster and become stronger.
How quickly will I see an improvement?
This is dependent on how willing you are to listen to the advice given and take it fully on board. Are you ready to potentially make some changes? Some illnesses take months (or years) before symptoms begin to show. Symptoms appear for a reason and that reason is sometimes due to habits or certain lifestyle choices. We will aim to give you the information and tools you need to empower you to take your health into your own hands.
That said you should see big improvements within 3-4 sessions and there should also be a noticeable difference after the first. We will keep detailed notes of your sessions and symptoms so we can refer back and keep a progress report on how things are developing.
Is Systematic Kinesiology painful?
Most of the work is gentle and relaxing. You remain fully clothed and there should be no forceful techniques. Occasionally, a lymph care massage or muscle feedback touch may feel unusual but it’s intended to support balance and comfort.
Where are you based?
I live and see clients in Falmouth, Cornwall and also offer sessions in North London on a regular basis. Remote sessions are available too.
